is the result of a group project during a two weeks workshop
with Misha Kahn and Kostas Lambridis, in collaboration with Make Eindhoven, a studio that works mainly with aluminium casting and glass slamping. The aim was to delvelop a concept and make it at Make Eindhoven.
It was a delicate process and also challenging to work with different students and designers that have a different vision of what aesthetic is. But the final result was interesting.
We made a dripping fountain that makes the water run into different parts to finaly end up in a bowl. We wanted to give the installation a natural look by using only organic shapes and natural materials: rocks, metal, glass.
The movement of the water is slow and gives a comtemplative aspect to the fountain,and somehow makes it alive.
